You know those days you for some reason decide to look up at the night sky and sigh because it's just so vast and enchanting- the stars (the billion shining as a blanket above you) and the moon that will lead you to exciting and wonderless thoughts.
All of that just makes your heart melt as you take a big sigh of relief (relief that your troubles are gone and you can ultimately clear all thoughts, even if its just for one brief second)
It all makes me feel alone in the world. Lonely and small (very small actually). I enjoy the loneliness for a period of time knowing I can come back to reality whenever I choose and find my bigger self waiting for me right where I left her.
Sitting here on an island far from all- the stars shine brighter and the moon is always bigger- I just wish I could share that relief with another human. Anyone- just someone else to feel the power of beauty overtake you and be open for that silent relief.
